What is A/B Testing?

A/B Testing lets you compare multiple versions of your link to find out which design, layout, or content performs best.
Your audience is split between the original version (control) and up to 9 test variants, allowing you to measure which one drives better results.

How it works

  1. Enable A/B Testing: Click the πŸ“Š icon on any link in your dashboard.

  2. Add Variants: Create new test variants by duplicating or adjusting existing links.

  3. Set Traffic Weights: Decide what percentage of visitors see each version (the total must equal 100%).

  4. Save & Monitor: Visitors are automatically assigned to a variant and will always see the same version on repeat visits.

Key features

βœ… Consistent Experience – Each visitor always sees the same variant across sessions
βœ… Visual Distribution – Instantly preview traffic split with an interactive chart
βœ… Auto-Balance Tools – Apply preset traffic splits (equal, control-heavy, or variant-heavy)
βœ… Security Preserved – All protection and safety settings apply to every variant
βœ… Team Compatible – Fully supports shared links within team workspaces

Best practices

  • Start with 2–3 variants for quicker and more reliable results

  • Test only one element at a time (e.g. button color, bio text, or layout)

  • Allow enough traffic before analyzing the data

  • Use a 50/50 control split when beginning new experiments for accurate benchmarks

Use the Auto-Balance button to quickly apply presets, or manually adjust sliders for fine-tuned distribution.
